Tracklist/Description: Space Dimension Controller is the moniker of Jack Hamill, it is a moniker which has served him well over many years having released some of the most innovative, unique and exciting electronic music of the past decade. Originally from Belfast, he has drawn upon inspiration from 80’s funk, neon lights, video games and beyond – blurring the lines between influences to create cutting edge dance music with one foot in the past and a one in the future. He has released arguably some of the best ‘dance’ albums of this generation and has appeared on pivotal labels such as Ninja Tune, Royal Oak and Dekmantel. Whilst some of his music is cinematic by nature, his recent focus has been towards the clubs having been releasing material most prominently through his own recently launch label Tiraquon Records. This has since been expanded upon with his latest outing coming in the form of an EP for Will Saul’s longstanding AUS Records. As a DJ you never quite know what to expect from a Space Dimension Controller set – this is perhaps a testament to his vast, sprawling musical knowledge and keen desire to connect the dots between styles and genres.
